Information You Enter
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates the results. Evans Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those search terms on its own servers. If you send a message, the mailbox receives the contents needed to answer it.
Routine Technical Logs
Hosting providers may record ordinary technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Those signals can be reviewed in aggregate to maintain the pages and understand general traffic. Basic analytics, cookies, or advertising measurement tools may also process limited technical data where enabled.
How the Data Is Used
The purposes are operating the reference, resolving technical faults, measuring traffic, and improving content. Visitor lists are not sold, and the reference does not intentionally build an individual user profile.
External Record Routes
Links lead to Weld County and Colorado portals, Evans offices, library collections, archives, and sponsored search tools. The destination provider’s privacy terms govern anything submitted there. In particular, the sponsored result box is supplied by a separate company.
Possible Recipients
Hosting and technical service providers may process server logs while supporting the reference. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the limited automatic data described above. Disclosure can also occur when valid legal process requires it; otherwise, the reference does not sell visitor lists.
Security and Retention
The pages use an encrypted connection, and technical logs are retained only for the purposes described above. There are no visitor accounts, so the reference does not hold a password or personal profile for a visitor.
People Under 18
Evans Residents Directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, use the Contact page so the mailbox and available logs can be reviewed for deletion.
Your Colorado Privacy Choices
The Colorado Privacy Act describes access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights for covered personal data, subject to its scope and exceptions. Because the reference keeps little information, a request usually concerns a contact message or technical log. Use the Contact page to ask for a review. Public records held by Colorado, Weld County, or Evans offices remain under the custodian’s authority, and a request to this private reference cannot erase a government record. Colorado public-record access is governed by the Colorado Open Records Act, the General Assembly CORA overview, CRS 24-72-200.1 through 24-72-205, and the CCJRA statutory text for criminal-justice records.
